Istanbul Modern welcomes the new art season with October exhibitions.
COLLECTION EXHIBITION: THE ARTIST AND HIS TIME
Istanbul Modern’s collection exhibition takes the words of Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, Turkey’s benchmark philosopher and literary giant, as a starting point: “I’m neither in the time nor totally outside of it.” The exhibition
showcases 193 works from 109 artists from the museum collection, creating visibility around Tanpınar’s views of the past, present, and future, a reckoning of artists from around the world.
ARTISTS’ FILM INTERNATIONAL 2016
